Service terrific, serving sizes for sides could be a little more generous, meat entrees were good but not hot - lukewarm. Black eyed peas terrible.

The food is always good and the staff is friendly.

Do you like sausage? I love sausage and this place has arguably the best BBQ sausage ever. The Smokey BBQ sauce and the juiciness of the sausage is a match made in heaven. The menu is full of good BBQ, from ribs to brisket to chicken and they're all good, but as you might have guessed by now, the sausage is my top favorite!

I've tried the pulled pork sandwich with fries and it was delicious, can't find nothing negative about it so far.

I've had lunch here many of times, and it varies from good, ok, to bad. Today was on the line of not to good. The ribs were dry (from over cooking, but covered in sauce to try to cover up the internal dryness of the meat) and not good at all. What they served me today any novice could have put on a plate. It definitely shouldn't have come from a place that calls themselves a barbecue restaurant. Next time I'll drive a few miles down the street to 4Rivers. Great place for the ones that don't know how good food could really be...

Been here a few times over 5 years and was never disappointed

They are always good. Dont let the pink pig on the display fool you. This place is pretty darn good.

Good food. Rustic atmosphere.

The food is decent, prices are pretty good, but the bars seriously lacking. The rules for making platters are way too complex. Required a few minutes of explanation just to understand what could and could not be mixed together.

Came here as a suggestion from a friend. I ordered one of their specials, 8 wings (mild garlic) and added a side of Mac and cheese and garlic bread. The wings and garlic bread are delicious. The Mac and cheese was okay but I rarely expect over the top amazing Mac and cheese from a restaurant. I would definitelt recommend this place. The cashier was super friendly and pleasant.

The food was great, as always. And Damian was very nice and friendly. But maybe have the AC checked, it was super hot in there.

Good food, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and great proximity to the UCF Research Park. What's not to love?

Terrific ribs.. and baked beans.. Kids and group friendly.. very casual.

First of all the BBQ was awesome. I had the baby back ribs and tried the pulled pork both were fall off the bone good. The staff were very good as well. Took time to explain to new comers how things worked as far as the menu goes in a very courteous manner. The building itself was decorated in a very cool and unique way. With old signs, garage doors and other interesting things to look at. Bubbalou's is a must if you are in the Orlando area.

Will never purchase again. Only thing good was the garlic bread mac n cheese had to much of oily cheese n watery beans to much fat no flavor and ribs tasted microwaved 🤮

Didnt like it. It doesnt compare to the more popular place. Very overpriced for what you get.

Great BBQ!!! I try to eat here every time on the east side of Orange County. I just wish they had a really hot BBQ Sauce (LOL). Try the hot BBQ Sauce they keep behind the counter!!! Love it!!!

Amazing, great staff, bar with decent selections. Huge place. Pork sliders were off charts!!!

Food food and quick service to me and my friends

Drive by all the time and finally found time to stop. Wife and I got the pork special plate (pork, fries and garlic bread) Service was great, employees very nice. Food was good, not great. Prices seemed to be in line with other places, I'm a big guy and thought the portion was a tad small.

Visited this location for the first time. If this had been my first experience at bubbalou’s I would never visit them again. Got a rib sandwich which my bread and fat then meat, also got a beef sandwich with very little meat on it. The person who took my order acted like I was doing her a favor by ordering. My visit was for a late lunch around 2 so the place empty. This location can’t be part of the other locations as the experience and food quality was so poor ( actually thru my food away and ate up the street) I have been a patron of the Orlando locations for over 15 years.

Great beef brisket sandwich and cheesy grits! Their Killer sauce, though not very hot, had great flavor. Their other sauces were not hot, though decent enough. The restaurant also had an eclectic variety of amusing pig and barbecue decorations. The staff was friendly enough and the place was clean.

First: It shocks me they only have a 3.6 stars. This place is a must if your in the area. Were big fans of BBQ & trying new places when were out of town. This was on our to do list since bc we love BBQ, and we were in town for 2 weeks. Aubrey, The Cashier was Professional & Polite. She was very knowledgeable about the History of the Resturant and the Menu. They also are dog friendly bc of outside seating. We had a Rescue Great Dane In Training to be a Therapy Dog in the Jacksonville area for VA hospital, and Nursing homes. They welcomed us with smiles. The Manger on duty Christina was very professional and Friendly as well. You can tell her staff respects & appreciates working for her and with her.I would give y'all a ten if I could, but a 5 will have to Do!Thank you so much a Novice reviewer from Jacksonville Florida.TiaKimberly

Brisket and Pulled pork was delicious. Staff was friendly, fast and helpful.

Food was terrible not worth the amount they charge. The baked beans had a strong vinegar taste. I will not be coming back ever!!!

That was some damn good pulled pork. The cowboy caviar had a great balance of heat and sweet

Food is always good. The BBQ sauce is okay and balanced slightly on the vinegary side and missing some of the tomato flavors. The wait staff is friendly and courteous. The environment is clean, ample and southern cozy. Very family appropriate, Not like a sports bar.

We got the 4 meat platter so we could try out a lot of different options. The pulled pork was very good, moist and well seasoned. Pulled chicken was very moist, the flavor could’ve been better, but I would eat it again. The St. Louis ribs were tasty, but had a lot of fat (which is typical for that cut of meat). Sliced beef was the most underwhelming. Just dry and flavorless. Overall, would recommend the pulled pork if you’re in the area and looking for barbecue.

The place was fabulous,great food

I eat a lot of BBQ and this place was a pleasant surprise. Don't expect to be waited on. You place your order at the counter and take a seat and they bring it to you much like the Loop. The food was delicious and the different BBQ sauces were very tasty. I preferred the original. I had the turkey sandwich on garlic toast with slaw and fries. The only improvement would have been the sweet tea.

Lot of food. Ribs I got were pretty chewy though. Maybe left heated from lunch? Still, does not put it high on my list to get again. Had the rib sampler. Sides were okay but the ribs were disappointing to me.

Driven past this place many times but never stopped in until someone mentioned to check them out. Had the pulled pork sandwich. This was in the middle of the day so was not busy and got the food very quickly. I got it to go, got the sauce on the side.The other pulled pork sandwich I had in this UCF area is 4 Rivers, I would say subjectively, both are good. I like 4 Rivers pulled pork a little bit more but Bubbalou's gave a lot more meat. I would say if in the mood for eating a lot of pulled pork, this is the place to go.The side mac and cheese was standard and decent. Next time will try a different side and see.

This place used to be great. Now it seems like the owner doesn't care. The place feels run down and has a dirty feeling. My table was sticky end to end as if it was wiped down with a coke. I put down paper towels as a barrier and they stuck to the table. The pulled pork was good but the Brunswick stew was mostly broth. The sauce bottles were filthy looking some had tape on them to hold labels but also held dirt. I like this place and hope they can turn it around before it goes out of business.

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1, is because the staff was awesome. Very friendly and upbeat. The food on the other hand was horrible. I got the pulled pork sandwich basket and my husband got the brisket sandwich basket. My sandwich was soaked in grease. I literally had to put paper towels under it to try to get some of the grease off of it. The bread was dripping and soggy. Everytime I would pick my sandwich up grease would pour out. I ended up not eating it. The brisket was very very dried out. My husband also did not eat his. The Mac and cheese tasted like the chef boy Rd in the can. Very dissatisfied! Won't be going back.

I live in Memphis, so my bar for BBQ is pretty high. That said, this is perfectly serviceable and has a friendly staff in a casual environment that's easily accessible.

If you're interested in good barbecue this would be a great place to stop. While not as good as you might find in Austin or Memphis, it was a good stop for some ribs and a beer. Meat was fall off the bone tender. People were friendly, prices were fair, food was really good. Our party also highly recommended the pulled pork.

I came here because it was close to work. The place was empty besides one guest on their phone sitting there. Tables were sticky. We ordered the beef brisket dinner plates with three sides. The Mac and cheese was old and sandy, collard greens were drenched in vinegar, beans were sugary, corn on the cob was dried out, and the beef was dry with separated fat from it. While staff members were friendly, we will not be returning.

Good bbq I've eaten here a few times when I was in town for business. I recommend eating here. I liked it enough to buy a tshirt.
